About Peggy
I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in 1991 and Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2010. I have been on many medications and seen many doctors over the years; however, the thing that helped me the most was changing my diet and lifestyle.

In 2010 I went to a Holistic Physician who had me go off of gluten, sugar, dairy, peanuts, soy and corn. Within 6 months I was able to go off almost all of my medications, including weekly chemo shots and quarterly chemo injections. I also changed my rhythms in life and I felt better than I had in years! I read a lot of books, worked to get myself better, and then got my training as a Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert.

I believe improving our health takes a holistic approach to make lifestyle changes so that we can experience the joy of living. This is going to be different for every individual, based on their uniqueness, their specific needs and their lifestyle. It doesn't mean giving up great tasting food, but it may mean learning a different approach to great tasting food.

I still struggle with RA and Sarcoid, but am able to experience the joy of living - when I'm not in the kitchen creating new recipes or teaching others how to improve their health, you might find me teaching a yoga class, hiking in nature, gardening or enjoying time with my family.

I would love to help you find the joy in eating and living a healthy life.

"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you which is good and pleasing and perfect." Rom 12:2
